A massive protest broke out in the United Kingdom this week when the BBC---the British Broadcasting Company---decided to let the leader of a political group with racist ideas appear on a political talk show.  Protesters believed that racist groups shouldn't be able to share their ideas.  The BBC believes that the leaders of every political group should have the same right to television time. 

 

Questions to ask:

 

What was the cause of the recent protests that took place in the United Kingdom?

 

  1. The BBC allowed the leader of a racist group to appear on television.
  2. Migrants are pouring into the United Kingdom.
  3. The leader of the British National Party hasn't held an important vote that he promised to hold.
